I have never seen Goodfellas, I will admit! But the use of Requiem over a Tragic Sequence pretty much nailed this for me as the least subtle I have yet seen, at any rate.

Which is not at all to say I didn't like it - in most places, I kind of think it was awesome how unsubtle it was! But I also think it would have been interesting done with less obvious musical choices. I actually loved the music in the trailer, for example, and I thought it was perfect for the mood (although I know a bunch of people disagreed with me there.)
