It is without a doubt the most cracked-out Arthurian novel I have ever read, and I have read a LOT of Arthurian novels. (My favorite bit is how once they get out of earshot of crazy Queen Guinevere everyone is like "so . . . Arthur's going to be reborn as a nice young man . . . and Guinevere is over a thousand years old and is sooooort of looking her age . . . WOW this is going to be awkward!")
