DUDE you should so do it! Like I said in the post, Ysabeau Wilce's books are the only ones I have ever seen to do a California-based fantasyland, and there's so much stuff to play with there! They would have to deal with earthquakes and droughts and the Santa Anas, and man, the redwoods are basically fantasyland botany all by themselves and they're real.
