It's very easy to imagine them in the same universe - Dalemark is pseudoBritain, Sounis and Eddis and Attolia are pseudoGreece, and the Medes are in between. They even seem to have around the same level of technology! (Well, Dalemark is probably a little bit more advanced in terms of firearms, but.)
