The ADHD and dyslexia thing is actually pretty well-handled, from what I've seen - I mean, once you get past the fact that it's magic ADHD and dyslexia, which is something significant to get past. But from what I understand Riordan's son has ADHD and dyslexia, and he created the character because of that, so.

(It's still not the most complex portrait, but I was very fond of Mysterious Secret Superheroine Persephone Working to Better the Lives of the Dead. Which is a spoiler but kind of an obvious one, so I don't mind iving it to you.)
