I will always have a soft spot for the London highlights because it was my gateway to the musical, but...iirc, they got 2 months to translate 50 songs, and the ones that DIDN'T make it onto the highlights are...wowwwwww. The ones that did are just bad.

The London translation of Roméo et Juliette is actually worse, which is astounding, because until then no one believed it possible.
