I enjoyed the second book a lot more than the first, mostly because I just...never actually believed the romance between Lady Trent and her husband? Also the second book introduces a really great character. (Also another moment of "...can I read the Memoirs of [spoiler] instead?")

I did love Dagmira a LOT though. Best part of the book.
