I loved the cook, probably only because I was lucky enough to read the book when I was not hungry. Found family + excellent food makes it feel even warmer as a home.

I thought the Zanja-has-to-die plot was very strange (I was hoping for more info in future books why it was "necessary") and I was very grateful for Norina, but I really enjoyed all the h/c it provided.
