The whole Polyta-grows-into-being-the-best-Carron-ever arc is so good! Protera is so good! The Fiona arc is .... oh dear. It's like, O'Donohoe knows he's being kind of weird about it, because he goes on and on about how brilliant Fiona is and how BJ doesn't want to write her off because of her Hot Topic wardrobe and so forth, and then he goes on and writes her straight to stereotype anyway.

Fun fact: I am now halfway through Book 3, but before I started it all I remembered about the plotline with Griffin Jr. from Book 3 is that his person is someone with a short name starting with F, so I was like "does .... Fiona change significantly in character between books .......?"
