lol yeah I ALSO got that feeling, the entire Eastern dragon plotline almost felt more like it was being written ... from duty than from pleasure? Which was too bad, because the actual setup for Tané's character -- so ambitious and driven and dutiful that she breaks the number one rule in order to achieve her ambition, and we go from there -- is really interesting and could have been a great arc if that part of the world was fully fleshed out, and if she was interested in prioritizing character over plot for a bit.
