Yeah, it felt pretty tonally similar to Elatsoe for me -- I was less thrown by it than in Elatsoe though, I think in part because both Oli and Nina start out younger than Ellie when the book begins so it felt less jarring, and in part just from having had the Elatsoe experience to get the general vibe of Little Badger's prose.
