god I LOVED Otherland. I reread the whole thing a few years ago and I really didn't expect it to hold up but to be honest I still loved it just as much. Is it too long? Yes. Is half of it just weird-virtual-universe-of-the-week? for sure. DO I STILL HAVE HUGE EMOTIONS ABOUT ORLANDO AND SAM ABSO FUCKING LUTELY
