Oh god the writing of the women in the Englandverse drives me inSANE. You look at the way Will, Kim, Daniel, and Archie are written and then at how Phoebe, Maisie, Fen, and Pat are written, and it's just . . . it's so patronizing. The guys are having adventures and chewy relationship drama, and the women are off in a corner making hats. Really, the way she writes lesbians sucks in general, and I wish she'd just stop because she clearly isn't interested in them and doesn't enjoy writing them, and just includes them out of a sense of - duty? I don't know.
