I've enjoyed several of her romances, but the ones I've liked best have tended to be the ones with the least traditionally romantic structures, where she gives herself a lot of room to play around with genre expectations. To be even more self-indulgent with the analogy from my main post, I think she's a very skilled genre tailor -- she can turn her basic fabric into a romance suit in a style I don't much like, or into a garment that's got a silhouette that's much more fun for me while still essentially being a suit.
