I also was extremely confused by the VAST DIFFERENCE IN CLIMATE between Onderon and the planet where Lux first turned up but I just checked Wookiepedia and I guess that was not Onderon where we first actually saw them, so okay, I guess technically one could .... make sense of the political situation with a lot of dedicated effort ......
