I feel that Cymbeline is a play that needs the director to embrace the batshit. I saw it years ago at the Globe with a cast of about 6 playing all the characters, and though it was really good the final scene of revelations just reminded me of Prince Ludwig in Blackadder, "I was that sheep!"
