It's Tuesday. So, of course, I have to blab about Heroes.

Mostly just because it felt like this episode was perfectly tailored for me, in terms of AWESOME. Seriously! I shall tally:

- Ando gets to save the day: check.
- Another female hero with a cool power, even if she is kind of an ass: check.
- Beautiful scene between the Bennetparents, including Mrs. Bennet getting to be awesome AND have more information than Mr. Bennet, for once: check.
- MAMA PETRELLI BEING NOT ONLY AWESOME BUT SECRETLY IN LEAGUE WITH A HERO WHO IS ROGUE FROM THE COMPANY AND USING THEM TO PROTECT HER FAMILY: CHECK CHECK CHECK. THE ONLY THING MISSING WAS THE SOCKS.

Other benefits include the Haitian being both hardcore fantastic AND dorkily tripped up by Claire, Mohinder drinking spinal nectar, Linderman's curator tossing out obscure Princess Bride references (I love him, by the way. Seriously. Linderman's best employee) and individual pot pies. Villains who cook! I feel all fuzzy inside. Also, while I will be sad to see Mohinder go - as it looks like he is, even though he wasn't quite dead yet - I am kind of gratified to see the Supernatural convention of stapling dead blondes to the ceiling turned on its head. Overall: YAY.

Except for, you know, the hiatus and Peter's head getting sliced open.

I KNOW RIGHT. MRS. PETRELLI > US ALL. I am curiouser than ever about her socklifting escapades. WILL THERE BE A SHOCKING REVELATION?

I am stubbornly insisting that Mohinder Will Live. Though it's probably Peter who'll probably end up with the lightning scar.

DUDE, I SO CALLED IT. . . . WITH THE WRONG ROGUE COMPANY MEMBER. AND WRONG FAMILY MEMBER. BUT STILL! The socks are totally involved somehow. Maybe they are magic brainwipey socks.

(And hey, the Haitian was working at the company pre-Claude-termination, so. Maybe he introduced them!)

I would like it lots if Mohinder could live. I love how even when he is like "I am hardcore and badass and Zoggily revengey!" he is still . . . Mohinderly oblivious. *ruffles his hair*

Peter already lost his bang. Isn't that tragedy enough? :O (Obviously, Sylar knew that's where he kept his power.)

Totally magic brainwipey socks. And I'm so amused how many 180s they're doing with what we know of Mrs. Petrelli.

Yeah, but he drugged the chai! And took spinal nectar! I think that outweighs these minor details of ending up stapled to the ceiling.

OMG Becca I am mourning the bang. MOURNING. (And yes. Come on -- "let's see how that works" or whatever he said, and IMMEDIATE CUT TO THE HAIR.)

Seriously. I am betting on her having a power after all, now - either that, or Mr. Petrelli Sr. having strong Company connections.

I know! Maybe it is not all gone. Perhaps it is only cut in twain, mourned by its bangy comrades.

I think that would be awesome, but she'll be awesome whether or not she has a power, what with the SECRETLY KNOWING EVERYTHING. Man. That family. It cracks me up to think of Mr. Petrelli and Mrs. Petrelli and Nathan all going around with their giant piles of secrets and Peter flopping earnestly around amongst them.

And I want to know what was up with Dad Petrelli now. And also what's up with every other mystery and cliffhanger DIE HIATUS. >:O

Sylar would totally say, "The humans are weak."

And he and Mohinder have totally pairbonded.

I've got to say, I seriously love the way this show has an awesome range of parental (especially maternal) characters.

SRSLY. *finds Mama Petrelli more awesome than sliced bread* I bet she and Mr. Bennet are old buddies. And had business meetings together and talked about the hardships of being mostly competent in this world. *hugs floppy Peter*

Maybe all the Heroes are the predecessors of the Zogg. :O It's a genetic imperative!

. . . I have revised my idea of the perfect Heroes dinner party. It is now Mr. Bennet and Mama Petrelli shooting glares and trading doublespeak at each other across a table, with Claude keeping score at one end, Mrs. Bennet cheerfully serving food at the other, and Peter looking INCREDIBLY CONFUSED in the middle.

And then Mohinder comes and sucks all their spinal nectar.

Srsly. *also eyes Joss rather sternly* See, Joss? Family dynamics don't have to be consistently sucky to be interesting!

Mama Petrelli does slightly edge Mrs. Bennet out, just for sheer ALL-KNOWING AWESOME. But only slightly. *giggles* Someday I will make a massive meta post about parents in Heroes, and how the genetic aspect translates to the family-driven nature of much of the show, and how Mr. Bennet's Ultimate Sacrifice reflects maternal melodrama of the 1930's, and it will be awesomely navel-gazey. But this is not that day.

Although I demand Hiro and Mrs. Bennet being adorable at each other at some point in there. He can come keep her company while she cooks, before the party?
