I actually heard "Bohemienne" when I was a teenager who used to listen to the all-musicals-all-the-time channel on Internet radio, AW YEAH. Then I stumbled over a copy of the original cast highlights on a school trip to Quebec, bought it out of a vague idea of using it to practice my French with, and promptly imprinted SO HARD. I wasn't even aware there had ever been an English-language version until several years after that, I think.
