You know, I don't think I've ever actually seen Fiddler on the Roof all the way through. I have a memory of my mom bringing a copy of the movie home from the video store (on TWO VHS TAPES, gosh), but I think I got bored halfway through. I also have a music box that someone gave me for my Bat Mitzvah that plays "Sunrise, Sunset" when you open it.

... Admittedly I've been pretty avoidant of "Jewish" narratives since around 2008 though and I'm not really sure how it'd make me feel at this point.

This sounds like an interesting book, though!
