I can't remember why I read Nicholas and Alexandra at a tender age but I'm pretty sure that the animated Anastasia film had more than a little to do with it. For whatever reason, I wasn't as intrigued then by Anna and the imposter effect, but it definitely appears to be an interest I have developed now!
