Mar. 20th, 2008 06:09 pmOkay two things! Three things. Maybe four.
1. I am done with my second-to-last set of finals ever. And, simultaneously, the costume shop where I work has finished its Extensive and Exciting Button-Sorting Project. We have calculated probably that we have probably three or four thousand types of buttons, all of which are now sorted and organized by shape and size and color and labeled and put back away in their dangerously high and ridiculously complex drawers that can only be reached by ladder, so, um, GO US!
2. For the next few days, due to sudden and spontaneous travel plans, I will be in NYC, Boston, and Bowdoin before returning home Tuesday night. (Respectively. Not all at once. Although that would be kind of fabulously cool.) I will probably have internet in most or all of these places but I may not have much time to use it, so if I'm not around much, that's why.
3. Meanwhile, during the massive amounts of in-transit time I will have for these journeys, I swear I will finally write the rest of those requests I promised people two or three weeks back. Sorry for the delay, guys!
4. My shoes are now falling apart so badly that today, when I felt something knobbly under my foot, I had to shake the shoe out and turn it around before I realized that THE KNOBS WERE COMING FROM INSIDE THE SHOE, or, more specifically, little twigs and pine-cone things had lodged in between the sole and the . . . bit that covers the sole. Whatever it's called. This is not really important news, I just wanted to have a fourth thing.

Date: 2008-03-21 02:04 am (UTC)Mary, Wellard, Duo, X.... sheesh. Anyone else you want to toss in. The first flying ship (Singapore Queen), which is rather on the small side (comparatively!), and all of them on board for a very, very long trip. And having to deal with other people in close confines!

Date: 2008-03-21 08:51 am (UTC)It's only 2 AM here anyways, and that's almost a reasonable hour . . . but I do have to be up to catch a plane tomorrow, so. *hugs* Goodnight, and, as I see from your most recent post that you are sick, feel better, too!
