I've seen a different production of By Jeeves and it... did not have some of the weird stuff... but it was hilarious af. Like the cast was not dressed as nymphs in the hedge maze, so it came off more as the actual rest of the cast popping in to either matchmake or laugh at Bertie's suffering, depending on facial expressions. Although I did feel that they made Bertie... too dumb?
