I spent a certain amount of the book trying to discern if Torin was really worried about his possibly-dying brother and I simply could not tell! All his emotions seemed to go into his toy-crafting vs. magic-working career choice, which is an important choice and I get why he's worried, but perhaps he should be worried about his brother too?
