I was telling Beth, I don't have a great knowledge of what to pay attention to technically in dance, so often when we go to the ballet I'm enjoying it but about half my brain is actually involved in tracking what's going on while the other half wanders -- but for this piece my whole brain was engaged at pretty much every moment, there was always really interesting thematic stuff happening on multiple levels and the character dancing did an incredible job of evoking it.
