I LOVE the Dragon War books - I read them when I was a kid, rediscovered them a year or so ago, and have since made it my goal to read everything else he's ever written. I love his awesome ladies. Shimmer! Indigo! Civet! If you're going to start with his other books, I would really recommend the Tiger Lil mysteries, in which a shy twelve-old-girl becomes the SIDEKICK to her WISECRACKING CRIME-SOLVING FORMER FILM STAR GREAT-AUNT. They are everything I love. *___*
Yeah, I figured that's how they were handwaving it within the film-verse. But I STILL KEEP WONDERING. Big-eyed teenagers are not all that hard to come by! And Eugene is not exactly the most trustworthy gentleman around.
