Well, it's not like it makes things all that much worse for Evred either, honestly . . . I mean, he would be stuck in pretty much the same position regardless. I'll admit that Tdor and Signi probably have to deal with some more awkwardness on that account than they would otherwise, but, let's face it, it was going to be awkward no matter what. And if Inda wasn't the person he is, then none of them might care as much as they do anyway, so the point is sort of moot.
So actually, I think probably the only significant angst-factor related to that is the one going all the way back to poor Tanrid. Which is a bit Lymond-ish, when you think about it!
