IT WAS SO ADDICTIVE AND I DON'T KNOW WHY. I mean, yes, I do, because it was on crack and I had to find out how much more ridiculous it was going to go . . . but there were also points where I was seriously nodding along and going "yes, thanks for putting this down in words, in a book, I'm glad somebody did!" (Mostly the Phaedra bits, Phaedra was amazing.) And then there were the rest of the bits when I was just like DID FROI JUST SERIOUSLY DO A FLYING ERROL FLYNN MIDAIR LEAP TO CUT QUINTANA'S NOOSE, DID THAT REALLY JUST HAPPEN and burst out laughing on the subway. I have completely stopped being able to think seriously about Froi at all, even to dislike him! I'm just stuck in a constant state of WHAT.
