Marius totally does not owe Eponine anything (at least, until he starts using her to help him stalk Cosette, but that's another story) but his lack of common courtesy and compassion still kind of bothers me. Like, wouldn't kill him to say "thank you" or "sorry about getting your whole family thrown in prison . . ."
