*butts in* Hi I am mentally ill with a family history of mental illness and it was a lot of fun for me? I mean, I read it a while ago and I am not always sensitive to these things so take it with a grain of salt, but he didn't seem to be talking about mental illness so much as dementia, and he didn't seem to be slamming it so much as not wanting to put someone he loves through that kind of pain.
