Hmm, I don't necessarily think so -- I mean, it definitely wrote itself into my DNA as a younger-than-teenager, but in a lot of ways I think it's very much not a YA book, and I would think that adults would appreciate it more? But it's also a book I think you have to reread a time or two, which adult reading patterns generally lend themselves less to. But I don't have enough data really to say!
