Yes, they're definitely getting better as Isabella gets older and less hung up. There is a lot more LOL CONVENTION and Now It Can Be Told, which are quite enjoyable. (Also I think Brennan is getting the hang of the setting? Something about the prose works better for me in later books, but it's not like she's a new author, so I'm a little confused by that fact.)
