Doesn't sound like my kind of thing in the end, but it did remind me that one of my friends once semi-seriously proposed my entering into a marriage of convenience with another friend of hers! Unfortunately it was to avoid said friend being deported rather than access pots of cash :( (She eventually sorted out her visa issues in a slightly more orthodox way).
