It's sort of like the alternate version of Black Angel where she saves her husband without also being narratively required to reconcile with him. That, I appreciate a lot, despite my problems with Jung Hee.
(I spent some time thinking about what would have been more interesting! Probably the version that goes full Gaslight, where Jung Hee ends up actively sabotaging Eun Hee's recovery in order to maintain the lifestyle that her obsession with him provides. Then you get the narrative flip of Jae Bok revealing the truth to Eun Hee to get her out of his orbit, the same way she spends most of the middle of the series attempting to reveal the truth to Jung Hee in order to get him out of hers.)
