(Yeah, for the most part I thought the acting was great! Apparently they're talking sequel with the same cast, which .... I'm not sure how they would pull that off? Would they be playing the same kids, or different kids? But I'd see it.)

I did some commentary above to sovay's comment, but I will add that the other script doctoring I would have done is either DELETE all scenes in which we see The Villain doing The Villain thing, OR make them explicit cut scenes that the protagonists have to sit through and react to. You can't try to make us care about what the villain is doing when we KNOW he's a video game character! We are not the audience, the kids are! Stick to your conceit, Jumanji 2.0!
