This was definitely the most fun I've ever seen Daniel Craig have and I'm so into it. Finally, free to be the wacky character anger that he longs to be! I was trying to decide what accent I would most like to see him do next and I think it's probably 'intensely Canadian,' but I could be swayed in other directions as well.
Yeah, that's such a good way to put it -- I loved the enthusiastically layered dialogue, all of them talking over each other and constantly getting into each other's space in a way that felt super comfortable and energetic and appealing and also a little bit exhausting (I also really liked the moment when Marmee's coming back into the house during the Christmas scene and just has to stop and take a breath before she lets the girls know she's home, because she loves her kids but also she's tired.)
