It's been so long since I read Patrick O'Brien I'd almost forgotten this experience ... I'm bad at mapping action scenes in general tbh but something about the combination of action + hacking into corporate-named systems makes it extra tricky for me, in indeed much the same way as the combination of action + incomprehensible ocean maneuvers.
