Florence Nightingale is the only one of them who remains in the popular consciousness today.

Gordon is probably relatively well known at least in certain circles - helps to have been played by Charlton Heston in the film! - though nowhere near the degree of Florence Nightingale.

I did manage to place the other two without looking them up, but it was real delving in the back of the brain stuff (and with Manning it no doubt helps to be Catholic, though Newman has the bigger legacy).
