YEAH the horror of it was so effective! The bits where one or the other of them would just forget they had an independent body and stop breathing until the alarm was sounded -- augh augh augh. And the whole very funny but also very horrifying scene where Tennal is desperate to ask for gossip about the b-plot romance and Surit SIMPLY CANNOT BE BROUGHT TO DO IT and so Tennal simply cannot do it. Agony! (but like actual agony, the agony of being unable to have a conversation that one party doesn't want to have --)

(the thing that happens in ORV that I love particularly and that has ruined me for other iterations is that a son is given responsibility for rebuilding his mother's personality in a fairly similar way as to here, and he does his best, and then he's like '....I really only have a very limited view of this person from a very particular angle' and calls in all her friends to take over, it's SO GOOD.)
