I only saw s2 of The Afterparty -- Becca watched s1 solo, and then obligingly backtracked in s2 when I joined her a few episodes in -- but I had a great time with it! It really leans into the Rashomon factor, and the aesthetic stylization is a really fun way to double down on that. Plus it allows for a ton of self-indulgent genre jokes!
