Yeah for sure, I don't think Poker Face would be well served at all by binge-watching. It's old-school mystery-of-the-week in a lot of ways, which is a format I love and miss, but one that also means a certain repetitiveness of structure. (Though of course as soon as I say that, someone will appear who watched the whole thing in a day and loved it.)
Re: the Austin Walker monologues: in the last episode (or maybe second-to-last), that character has his first monologue and Becca said to me, "He is SUCH an Austin Walker character" and I said "No, not quite, he needs to use more 50-cent words with grimly precise satisfaction as he philosophizes." And then in his second monologue he immediately did that.
