DWJ had a WILD creative flowering in the early 80s -- Magicians of Caprona, Time of the Ghost, Homeward Bounders, Witch Week and Archer's Goon all come out between 1980 and 1984 -- and there's an argument to be made that you can see some Amber influence in more than half those books. Lit some kind of fire in her brain!
