I did the little hundred movies and hundred books game that has been going around various social medias! I tried to make my lists with just the things I could think of not looking at any of my actual reading lists or bookshelves and as a result I am now sitting here thinking of all the things I love and/or have shaped me in some way that I didn't happen to think of while making the specific list and taking -5 HP each time. So it goes. I can't believe I forgot Between Silk and Cyanide. Anyway, if you're not bored with clicking little boxes yet, please do go forth and click mine and let me know how it went!

Fewer than I would have thought for books (mostly because I haven't read a lot of the things everybody ought to have read), more than I expected for movies (on account of I'm sure I haven't seen 100 movies in my whole life). Among various other overlaps, Elfquest <3 (I haven't gone back and reread it in a while but I still love it...).

34 books -- Lizard Music was the one that surprised me. Curious why you chose The Shortest Way to Hades from the Hilary Tamar series -- I think it was my least favorite of them, and also the one I read first, because I found it for $1 in a used bookstore.

I almost didn't both trying the movies list, on account of how few movies I've seen and how few of those really stuck with me (I enjoy movies, despite how this sounds), but then I got 21 of your movies and only 15 of your books, so...go figure! ^_^

29 books, but an astonishing 50 movies! I don't think of myself as a movie person, but I watched a lot of old movies with my mom when I was young, plus the film society in undergrad would show classics on the big screen for a dollar every Friday.

Some of my absolute fave and formative books were on your book list: To Say Nothing of the Dog, The Once and Future King, Fingersmith ... Such great choices!

34 for books and 25 for movies! Lower than I expected for the first and higher for the latter. I did err in favor of leaving off books I might have read but didn't remember (I def had a Lawrence Yep moment but did I read Dragon of the Lost Sea specifically? Idk idk!)

30 books! Definitely some overlap with some of my most formative books--Hexwood, Once and Future King, Doomsday Book. And I really thought I had read all of the Edward Eager magic series, but you've got the one that I apparently missed.

I got 19 books and 17 movies. Was expecting the movies to be a lot less as I don't watch movies hardly at all and never have been a huge movie buff even when I was watching more than I do now.
