Then the villains embarked in a slow-motion chase after another different villain in a backhoe, fell into the reservoir due to a complicated situation I don't fully remember, presumably drowned and definitely crashed the backhoe through the dam or dike or whatever, sending the waters crashing free, with dire consequences particularly for the fairgrounds and car park that had been similarly Direly Hinted to be a deathtrap.
