I have read none of these, except Howl, although I do agree with you about the kids in The Ogre Downstairs also!

It looks like my library has Heart of Valor but not The Night of the Solstice. What is wrong with you, Arlington!? And Alexandria has nothing but Vampire Diaries. Inda looks awesome, though, so I'll probably add it to my list!

Oh dude, read Inda! I have been pushing it on everybody I know - it has been filling the portion of my heart labeled 'Epic Fantasy' for a while. It has a ton of amazing characters and incredible worldbuilding and is not the Great Evil vs. Great Good kind of epic, but rather the 'there's a bunch of flawed people trying to do their best to maneuver politically without everyone dying' kind of epic, and the fourth book just came out so you can even read the whole series without waiting! >.>
