Huh - you know, you're right, although I don't think I was thinking as much about the prophecies because of an excellent fic by fahye that posited the prophecies more as the natural effect of living backwards, which is a Wonderland thing. (The fic did a better job of showing that than the film, in my opinion, but.)

One of these days I'll get around to reading The Looking Glass Wars!
