Se Gi so far is cleaning up this competition with his wonderful suits! Episode 2's winning outfit was ALL THE PINSTRIPES.

I think I would really like to meet the person in charge of Se Gi's wardrobe. Actually I think I would like to work for the person in charge of Se Gi's wardrobe.
However we also have some pretty fabulous suits coming up next episode!
1.
Let us begin again with Se Gi, who never disappoints. This episode he appears to be doing his best impression of Carmen Sandiego. (I will be really sad, I think, if I ever see Se Gi in a standard black or gray suit. It will feel like a light has gone out of the world.)
2.
Also going for the monochrome look: Woo Wan, fully kitted out in dramatic emo black for that dark and dangerous air. The jaunty polka-dotted ascot draped suavely around his neck adds, I think, the perfect finishing touch.

3.
When placed up against the black-on-black, this relatively sedate gray-and-purple affair that Woo Wan puts on later can't really compete . . .
Until you add BRIGHT RED boxing gloves.

The best part is how they clash with his pocket handkerchief. (Though he loses a few points for not actually boxing in a fedora.)
4.
Moving away from suits for a moment, Cha Song Joo has a pretty awesomely epic hanbok today. These are not two colors that I would necessarily think to pair together. But some costume designer looked at these two fabrics and said, 'you know what, she can make it work.' And they were right!
When you look at it in close-up, the fabric is just really pretty, too. I love the little accents of silver.

5.
This dress proably would not sound all that noteworthy when described . . . but man, just look how Cha Song Joo is rocking it.

It's also a great outfit for pwning your interrogators.

I'm including this picture not just for the view of how epic Cha Song Joo's hair looks from the back (although partly this), and not just for the longing looks of star-crossed doomed love between two master manipulators (although also partly this), but also because it's the first time I noticed Lee Soo Hyeon's pink tie.

It's a nice tie, but even then I didn't think all that much of it, until I looked at his outfit the next day and realized that accompanying his sober business suit was an even more awesome pink tie.

The thing is, in a show full of fabulous costumes, Lee Soo Hyeon's nice quiet respectable suits are never going to stand out. He will never get to be a spectacular fashion plate like Woo Wan or Se Gi; even Na Yeo Kyeung gets to dress up more than he does. But, you know, he's trying! As much as he can within the confines of serious professional attire, he is asserting his support for Capital Scandal's commitment to fantastic men's fashion. I think I have to give him an honorable mention for effort, even though he will probably never make a Top Five. And also keep an eye out for more of his pink ties to see if this continues to be a theme.
