skygiants: Princess Tutu, facing darkness with a green light in the distance (lost in the woods)

Finally watched BSG 2.16 (Sacrifice) today, which I had been putting off, because WAH.

I had vague knowledge from slightly spoilery things that I had seen/heard about the big thing that happened in this episode. And I am going to keep watching, of course, now that I have made it over the DO NOT WANT hump, but . . . Billy-less BSG is so much less appealing. :( He's an idealistic civilian teddy bear! Civilian possibly being the crucial part in there. I am a civilian. I miss civilians in the midst of all the bad-assery. Dammit, Billy!

. . . and if he turns out to be a Cylon, don't tell me.

(Also, I am sure people will disagree with me here, but who picks Lee Adama over Billy? Seriously. I mean, not that I have anything against Lee at all, but . . . Billy hugs you and bumbles endearingly with bursts of awesome civilian competence. Lee Adama ejaculates manpain from his stomach.)

((Also also, and this will be relevant to like one person on my flist who comes from both the Wasteland-playing group and the BSG-watching group, but I also realized during this episode that Billy = Preston. He's Roslin's beta! And then Roslin goes off to flirt with Pack Leader Adama and Billy is like, "come on, guys, civil rights, democracy, IDEALISM!!" and Roslin is like "Yeah, that's sweet. Wait, when did you actually grow a backbone?"))
