Overall I did not read as many books this year as I have in previous years; this is probably largely due to writing a thesis in the spring and being confusingly demi-employed in the fall. Also 39 of the 126 books I read were rereads, which is more than a quarter -- a lot for me! -- and I did a lot of comfort reading, and a lot of binge-reading of lengthy genre series(...es?), and not a lot of reading of nonfiction (only 14 of the total, counting generously). Ah, well, we'll see what happens in the new year.

Because of the December meme, I also am more behind than usual on booklogging, but I do intend for most of the rest of this list to get a writeup in the next week or two! That said, if you are dying to know my thoughts on anything in particular, feel free to ask!
