Nov. 27th, 2007 12:37 pmLet's recap.
Saturday: Left my keys and ID card at home when heading off to the airport, had to drive back to get them, nearly missing my flight, and then lost my ID card on the airplane anyways.
Sunday: Mysteriously killed my portable hard drive, as previously facepalmed about at length.
Monday: Somehow lost the book I am currently reading in the ten-foot trek between the dining hall and my dorm. (This bothers me especially because there are so many books that I want to buy and own right now that the decision to buy this one as opposed to several others was made at great and agonizing length. I want that half hour of my life back!)
Zero for three this week, guys. What's the religious discipline where you renounce all worldly possessions? Because I'm beginning to feel this may be the safest path for me to take. I'd make a good hermit, except for the part where I'd always be walking into trees and tripping over my humble sleeping mat.
In other news, :
- Sylar/Maya squicks me out something fierce. For all, all, allllllll kinds of reasons.
- West being the voice of reason is a DO NOT WANT
- Hiro, PLEASE stop blipping out and leaving Ando behind
- Monica, you are absolutely kickass, but you'd better get out of this one yourself instead of having to be rescued (Micah rescuing would be adorable, admittedly, but I still want Monica to do it herself as a matter of principle)
- Sandra continues to hold my adoration. Lyle continues to be nonexistent
- I don't care what you all say, I still love Mohinder, and even moreso when he is flat-out admitting that he's basically the most inept spy to ever skulk in a secretive fashion. I am especially sympathetic to his bumbling this week, considering my own streak of WIN
- I am very interested to see what will happen next episode with: a.) Claire's decision to go public; b.) Mohinder and Sylar's reunion (WITH MOLLY WTF); c.) Monica. (Monica!!!! <3)
- Hiro, Peter, while normally I just giggle when you are dumb, right now you are both being really really dumb, and, to come full circle, I miss Ando
- Best part of the episode -

Date: 2007-11-27 09:46 pm (UTC)Which, (a) I really do not want Niki to die, and (b) I can't actually think of a more offensive way to kill her off than having her murdered by black thugs. Like, I'm sitting here, trying, and I got nothin'.

Date: 2007-11-27 11:57 pm (UTC)Just. Please, please no. Let Monica rescue herself and I will be happy, show, I'm honestly not that hard to please! (Well, that and give her back her older better hairstyle.)
Also, although after last week I was pretty resigned to Niki's probable death considering how screwed-up her storyline had gotten, now that she and Micah have been reunited again I am a lot less so. >.

Date: 2007-11-28 05:25 am (UTC). . . as for Sylar/Maya, it's making me look back wistfully on the days when Maya just cried a lot and wore a cute hat. While her storyline may have lacked forward momentum, at least she wasn't being sexually manipulated by a serial killer!
