I think I'm the only person in this bar who liked Korra S2...

This vid was great! I love how you showed Jinora's journey from child to young adult. It also seems fitting to me that you ended with the ceremony where she becomes a master, because as S4 shows that's the end of the Air Nation traditions of which Aang was the last heir (not that they weren't changing things up in S3 of course). Starting from this ceremony, they're finding a new way.

And thank you so much -- that's exactly what I was trying to do! (Well, specifically, that I was hoping S4 would do so that I wouldn't have to go back and restructure. Fortunately, not only did S4 mark a useful thematic shift in the handling of the Air Nation, all their uniforms changed, so there wouldn't be visual continuity anyway! Much as I love the squirrel suits.)

Oh, very nice. I ought to rewatch me some Korra.

You know, of all the Korra-era characters, only Jinora was consistently in my top five (had I made such a ranked list). And ever since discovering her (via "Lullaby for a Stormy Night") a couple of months ago, I've loved listening to Vienna Teng.

However... I find her, more than any other singer to whom I've had significant exposure, nearly incomprehensible. Beautiful voice and beautiful songs, but i have the hardest time figuring out any lyrics outside the chorus of any given song. (There are exceptions, of course... "Lullaby" and "Antebellum", mostly through persistence of listening, and "Level Up" and "Whatever You Want". Possibly one or two others that aren't coming to mind at the moment, and maybe some that - like "Landsailor", until this evening - I've never heard before.)

Thank you! Yes, both Jinora and Vienna Teng are pretty fantastic, aren't they? :D

I feel like I understand most of Vienna's lyrics pretty well, but it may just be that I've listened to most of her output SO MUCH that it's ingrained all the way in my head. Though there's a couple where she's singing extremely fast ("In the 99," oh my goodness) that it would take a lot more study for me to be able to sing along!

This is one of my favorite songs off Aims, so it's a pleasure to see it used so well here. Who knew that Vienna Teng wasn't writing an abstract love song about humanity and technology, but the return of the airbenders? Every time more airbenders appeared in the vid, my heart and my face went ;______;. I really need to watch the rest of LoK--like many, I stopped after S1.

(Also, in the process of putting "Landsailor" on repeat, I appear to have deleted half of Aims from my phone... will have to fix that when I get home.)

Ohhhh, my gosh, so good! I got chills. Also given that Vienna Teng is a geek I have had a half headcanon that "all equalized" was a Korra reference since Aims was released, um, so I was already on board with LoK Vid To That Song, but airbenders! Jinora!! Beautiful.

I really love how Jinora represents the new generation of airbenders. In the vid, I particularly liked the first clip to the first 'lightbringer' and then again to 'be your bride in full'. Both were moments of very powerful emotion. Thank you for sharing!

This is SO GORGEOUS. I just finished Korra and a friend pointed me to this vid and it is stunning. I showed it to my 10yo who is a big fan of the series and he loved it too. Oh, there are so many moments that made me gasp out loud. I love it.
